SARAH MARGARET SMITH

  Miss Sarah Margaret Smith passed away in Latrobe on Saturday, Dec. 1, after an 
illness of about four years, the last three months of which she was confined to 
her bed.  For many years she was the housekeeper for Father Kitrick in the Holy 
Family Parish, Latrobe.
  She was a daughter of the late Mark and Mary (Cromley) Smith, of Salisbury and 
Meyersdale.  She is survived by three sisters, Mary Ellen Smith, also employed 
in the home of the Holy Family Parish, Latrobe; Leota Smith, nurse, Pottsville, 
Pa., and Mrs. Joe F. Reich, Meyersdale.
  Solomn High Mass was held for her in the Latrobe church on Tuesday morning 
after which the body was brought to Meyersdale for burial in the Catholic 
Cemetery.
  Relatives from away who attended the burial services were C. R. Radebaugh, a 
brother-in-law of the deceased, and daughter, Mrs. Charles Friel of Columbus, 
O., and Miss Gretchen Smith, Washington, D.C.
