     Victor H. Smith, 62, Jenners, died unexpectedly Dec. 3, 2007, at Somerset Hospital.
  Born April 29, 1945, in Clairton, the son of George D. Sr. and Margaret (Glegyak)
  Smith. Preceded in death by parents and brother, John Smith. Survived by
  wife of 36 years, the former Amy Sheftic; beloved daughters, Megan and Marta Smith, both
  of Arlington, Va.; brothers, George D. Smith Jr., Clairton; and Michael L. Smith and
  wife, Erika, Doylestown; nephews, Michael and Jared Smith; and special brother-in-law,
  Jamie Sheftic and wife, Susan, Springfield, Va. A 1963 graduate of Clairton High School
  and attended Vanderbilt University. A 1968 graduate of California University of Pa. A
  teacher and coach in the North Star School District, having retired in June 2007 after 39
  years. A member of All Saints Catholic Parish. Viewing from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
  Wednesday at the Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main Street, Boswell,
  where a vigil for the deceased will be held at 3 p.m.  Wednesday. Funeral Mass 10 a.m. 
  Thursday at All Saints Church, Boswell. The Rev. Father Justin A. Ratajczak celebrant.
