  VIRGINIA SMITH
  
    Virginia Mae Smith, 81, of Glencoe RD 1, died March 31, 1977 at
  home.  She was born July 28, 1895 in Oldtown, Md.; the daughter of
  the late Benjamin P. and Sabra (Bucy) Huff.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, William R. "Joe" Sr. in
  1965; a daughter and a son-in-law.
    She is survived by these children: William H. Jr., Glencoe; Mrs.
  Dorothy Welsh, and Deloris Throckmorton, Cumberland, Md.  Also 17
  grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.  She was a sister of
  Mrs. Dorothy George, Cumberland, Md.; Mrs. Estella Kroh, Townsend,
  Md.; and Mrs. Cora Erichson, Oldtown, Md.
    She was a member of the Church of God.  Friends were received in
  the Johnson and Son Funeral Home, Berlin, where services were held
  with the Rev. Milton Morris officiating.  Interment, Mt. Lebanon
  Cemetery.
