    Wilfred O. "Ibby" Smith, 83, of Macdonaldton, died Aug. 26, 1993 at
  Siemon Lakeview Manor Estate.  Born Sept. 5, 1909 in Glencoe.  Son of
  Harry A. and Annie M. (Coughenour) Smith.  Preceded in death by
  parents; his wife, the former Mildred Scurfield in 1989; and brother,
  Carl.  Survived by these children: David, married to the former
  Suzanne Mack, Somerset; Susan Liggett, Plymouth, Mich.; William,
  married to the former Linda Narad, Hummelstown; six grandchildren;
  two great grandsons.  The brother of Harry O., Fairhope; Ada
  Glessner, Johnstown; Earl, Florida; and Lee, Berlin.  Also numerous
  nieces and nephews.  Retired teacher in Berlin and Brothersvalley,
  having taught 45 years.  Member of Somerset County Sportsmen's League
  where he served as secretary/treasurer for 20 years; Wild Turkey
  Federation; Trout Unlimited; Berlin and Paradise Valley Sportsmen's
  Clubs; NRA; and Sierra Club.  Family will receive friends from 7 to 9
  p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Deaner Funeral
  Home, Berlin, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday.  The Rev.
  Ralph Landis officiating.  Interment, IOOF Cemetery, Berlin.
