  SMITH
  
    William Robert "Bob" Smith, 73, of Markelton, died Oct. 8, 2001 at
  Select Specialty Hospital, Johnstown.  Born Feb. 9, 1928 in
  Confluence.  Son of Bertha Pearle (Rowan) Smith of Uniontown and the
  late James Ralph Smith.  In addition to his father, he was preceded
  in death by his first wife, Margaret (Shipley) Smith; four brothers
  and two sisters.  Along with his mother, he is survived by wife,
  Kathleen (Younkin) Wheaton Smith; son, Ronald and his wife, Debbie,
  of Mansfield, Ohio; daughter, Kathryn Keniston and husband, Randy, of
  Warren, Pa.; stepson, Douglas G. Wheaton and wife, Wanda; and
  stepdaughter, Sharyn L. Morgan and husband, Douglas, all of Rockwood;
  five grandchildren; brothers, Ralph J. "Bud" Smith Jr. and wife,
  Berdine of Confluence; Donald Smith and wife, Lil, of Two Harbors,
  Minn.; sisters, Clara Calvert and husband, John, of Xenia, Ohio;
  Evelyn Ann Crafton and husband, Charles, of Cloquet, Minn.; Shirley
  Uphold of Fontana, Calif.; and Louise Lenhart of Beaufort, S.C.;
  sisters-in-law Dolly Kinsinger and husband, Edgar of Confluence and
  Genie Younkin of Addison; brothers-in-law, Cenneth Younkin and wife,
  Dorothy, and Jeff Younkin and wife, Sis, all of Rockwood.  Member of
  Two Harbors Masonic Lodge and Moose Lodge and was a retired
  construction superintendent.  Friends will be received from 2 to 9
  p.m. Wednesday at Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where services
  will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, the Rev. James Monticue officiating. 
  Interment, in Jersey Cemetery.
