  WILLIAM W. SMITH
  
    William W. Smith, aged 85, died at 9 o'clock Monday night at the residence of 
  his son, Samuel Smith, with whom he made his home, in Berlin.  In addition to 
  his son named, he is survived by another son, George B. Smith, of Denver, Colo.  
  Funeral services at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon were conducted by Rev. C. P. 
  Bastian, pastor of the Berlin Lutheran Church.   Burial was made in the Odd 
  Fellows Cemetery.
