  SMUCKER
  
  Edward H. Smucker, 92, Siemon Lakeview Manor Estate, formerly of
  Friedens RD 1, died May 23, 1981, at Siemon Lakeview Manor.  Born
  March 30, 1889, in Somerset Township, he was a son of the late Frank
  W. and Mary (Emert) Smucker.  Also preceded in death by a brother,
  Owen J.  Survived by his widow, the former Phoebe Della Shaulis; and
  these children: Robert G., Wescosville RD 2; Mary Ellen, wife of Owen
  Glessner, Friedens RD 1; Edward F., Ephrata RD 4; 10 grandchildren and
  10 great-grandchildren; also by a brother, Alpha H., Somerset.  Member
  of Friedens Lutheran Church for 70 years, Somerset-Cambria Milk
  Producers Association, Friedens Grange and helped organize the
  Somerset Farm Bureau.  Death ended a marriage of 67 years.  Friends
  will be received after 2 p.m. today at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral
  Home.  Funeral service Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Friedens
  Lutheran Church, with the Rev. James R. Ling officiating.  Interment,
  Casebeer Cemetery.  Body will lie in state at the church from 12:30
  p.m. Wednesday until time of service.
