  CHARLES F. SNELSON
  
    Charles F. Snelson, 68, of Star Route, Grantsville, Md., died
  Sunday, July 21, 1985, at his residence.
    He was born in Mount Savage, Md., Sept. 13, 1916, son of the late
  John Snelson and Annie (Rowbotham) Snelson.
    He retired Dec. 31, 1981 as maintenance supervisor for
  Harbison-Walker Refractories, Grantsville, after 43 years of service.
    He is survived by his widow, the former Mary Martha Lapp; four
  sons, Kenny Snelson and Rick Snelson, both of Meyersdale; William
  Snelson, Frostburg, Md.; Gary Snelson, Springs; one daughter, Mrs.
  Karen Sines, Grantsville, Md.; two brothers, George Snelson,
  Ellerslie, Md.; Albert Snelson, Frostburg, Md.; and seven
  grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, where services
  were conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Steve Durr. 
  Interment, Grantsville Cemetery.
