  SNIDER
  
    William J. "Bill" Snider, 78, of Smithers, W.Va., formerly of
  Somerset, died March 17, 1995, at home after a short illness. 
  Survived by his wife, Retta, and these daughters: Judith Davis and
  Donna Meckler, both of Eastaboga, Ala.; Patricia Dempsey of Smithers;
  sisters: Lois Shaulis of Somerset and Alice Marie Leinger of
  Lewisberry, and brothers: David of Des Plaines, Ill., and Francis of
  Orlando, Fla.; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  He
  was a retired maintenance supervisor from Semet Solvay, a division of
  Allied Chemical, Harewood.  He was a member and elder of Smithers
  Presbyterian Church and a member of Coal Valley Lodge 74, AF&AM, of
  Montgomery, and Scottish Rite of Charleston.
