Her husband, John Snyder, preceded her in death four years ago. She was born at St. Paul, Elk Lick Twp., January 24, 1872, a daughter of Deeter and Nellie (Miller) Sipple. She is survived by three sons, William R. Snyder, Meyersdale; Lester C., Kent, Ohio; Robert F., Pocahontas; three daughters, Miss Mildred, at home; Hazel, wife of Elmer Mankamyer, Cumberland; Mary, wife of Thomas Bittner, California, Pa.; one sister, Mrs. Milton Bodes, St. Paul; three brothers; Lloyd Sipple, Salisbury; Francis, Jerome; and George, Meyersdale; one half brother, Roy Sipple, St. Paul; and two half-sisters, Mrs. John Weigle, Somerset; and Mrs. Morgan Walker, Meyersdale, R.D. 2. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 on Saturday afternoon in St. Mark's Evangelical and Reformed Church, Pocahontas, of which she was a member. Her pastor, Rev. J. E. Gindlesperger, will officiate. Burial will be made in the family plot of the Greenville Lutheran Cemetery, in charge of Stanley Thomas, Salisbury mortician. Meyersdale Republican, August 24, 1944
