Snyder, 84, widow of Iranaeus Snyder, died Wednesday morning, Sept. 6, at the home of her son, Albert J. Snyder, in Rockwood, following a brief illness. She was born in Milford Twp., April 19, 1860, the daughter of Albert G. and Elizabeth (Wolfersberger) Will. She was educated in the public schools of her home district and Palatinate College, now Albright College, Meyerstown, Pa., after which she taught school for several years in Milford Twp. In 1884 she was united in marriage to Iranaeus Snyder and for a number of years they lived on what is now known as the Milt Faidley farm in Middlecreek Township, later moving to New Centerville where they resided until the death of her husband in 1922. She was the mother of four sons, three of whom survive: Albert J. Snyder, Rockwood; Herbert D., Racine, Wisc., and Philip W., Vineland, N.J. Her youngest son, Edwin K., died in 1916. She is survived by two sisters and a brother, namely, Mrs. Grace Young, Connellsville; Mrs. Jennie Dull, Somerset; and Philip S. Will, Auburn, Cal. Funeral services were held last Saturday afternoon in the Rockwood Lutheran Church, the pastor, Rev. H. G. Hohman, officiating. Interment in the New Centerville cemetery.
