  Catherine P. Snyder, 74, of Berlin, formerly of Friedens RD, died
  Oct. 5, 2001 at Windber Medical Center.  Born Jan. 3, 1927, in
  Quemahoning Township, she was the daughter of Reno and Martha
  (Eschrich) Mostoller.  She was preceded in death by her parents,
  husband Hillis M., daughter Carol Ann Pyle, and brothers Herman,
  Dwight, Donald, Kenneth and Elmer.  She is survived by a son, Michael
  J., married to the former Cindy Miller, Friedens; a daughter, Gail,
  married to John Richards Sr., Somerset; seven grandchildren;
  son-in-law Richard A. Pyle, Friedens; sisters Miriam Horner,
  Johnstown; Evelyn Kimble Pulaski; and Mary Lou Fullerton, Bridgeton,
  N.J.; and a brother, Clyde of Somerset.  She was a member of the
  Shanksville United Methodist Church, and a former member of United
  Methodist Women and the Fourth Society of Farm Women.  Family will
  receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Deaner
  Funeral Home, Stoystown, where services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday
  with the Pastor Ronald Emery officiating.  Interment, Glade
  Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be sent to the Shanksville
  United Methodist Church, Shanksville, Pa.  15560.
