    Charles Jefferson "Jeff-Chuckie" Snyder, 72, Somerset, died Nov. 13, 2007, at Somerset
  Hospital. Born Dec. 23, 1934, in Stonycreek Township, the son of the late Harry Leroy and
  Gussie Marie (Rose) Snyder. Also preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Jane;
  granddaughter, Lisa Marie; sons, Terry and Tim Spangler, and three brothers and a sister.
  Survived by his wife, Ruby (Arnold) Spangler Snyder; children, Gerald Shaulis, Listie;
  Geraldine Morgan, Johnstown; Patricia Shortall, York; Charles Snyder, Hollsopple; Fred
  Spangler, Berlin; Terry Snyder, Berlin; Bonnie Kauffman, Friedens; Mark Snyder, Waverly,
  Va.; 25 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Brother of Geraldine Bailey,
  Somerset; and Mrs. Junior (Sara) Dneaster, Somerset; also a very special niece, Janice
  Bailey and two nieces, Bonnie and Linda, who helped care for him while he was ill. Member
  of First Christian Church, Jenner Rod & Gun Club, New Baltimore Sportsman Club, Sons of
  American Legion, VFW Post 554 and FOE Aerie 1801. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
  p.m. Thursday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, Somerset, where a service will be
  held 1 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Daniel F. Nicksich and the Rev. John J. Barchey officiating.
  Interment, Mizpah Cemetery.
