  Clarence Luther Snyder, 88, Somerset RD 2, died Dec. 12, 1987, in
  Somerset Community Hospital.  Born April 13, 1899, in Black Township,
  son of the late David Milton and Lydia (Weyand) Snyder.  Preceeded in
  death by wife, the former Elizabeth H. Ogline, died in 1980; an
  infant son; a grandson, David Robert; and a brother, Elwood M., died
  in 1978.  Survived by these children, Elmer L., married to the former
  Pearl F. Schrock, Somerset RD 1; Robert J., married to the former
  Lucille Barnett, Somerset RD 2; and Alice Mae, wife of Roy H.
  Gindlesperger, Somerset RD 2; eight grandchildren and 10
  great-grandchildren.  Retired farmer and retired Somerset Township
  employee.  Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday (today)
  in Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where service will be conducted
  Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. the Rev. Samuel E. Charlton officiating. 
  Interment, Beulah Cemetery.
