Snyder, 54, of Rockwood, died Saturday morning at Somerset Community Hospital. He was a son of the late M. A. and Lydia Snyder of Markleton. Mr. Snyder was for many years the superintendent of the National Battlefield at Ft. Necessity on Route 40 east of Uniontown. He was a member of the EUB church at Rockwood. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Iva McKay Snyder, a son, Clyde R. Snyder, Pittsburgh, and a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Biggs, Pittsburgh. The following brothers and sisters also survive: Roy D. and Ralph R. Snyder of Markleton; Mrs. Jeannie Bittner and Mrs. Mabel Schrader of Rockwood and Mrs. Evelyn Martin of Somerset. Funeral services were held Monday at 2:30 p.m., in the Rockwood E.Y.B. Church by the Rev. J. S. Eminhizer. Burial under the direction of Mills and Mickey was in the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
