    Daniel J. "Bud" Snyder, 82, of Willow Place, Pittsburgh, died Oct.
  14, 1999, at Shadyside Hospital.  Born June 10, 1917, in Stoystown. 
  Son of Charles H. and Sadie C. (Saylor) Snyder.  Receded in death by
  parents; wife, the former Eleanor Custer; son, Jerry C.; brother,
  Saylor C., and sister, Sara Kathryn Schutte.   Survived by
  children:  Eldan, married to former Barbara Klemm, Johnstown; Linda,
  married to David Hazinski, Athens, Ga.; grandchildren:  Kimberly
  Marley and Diane Snyder; great-grandchildren:  Sarah, Noah and
  Katheryn Maryley.  Brother of Lois Coleman, Scottsdale, Ariz. 1940
  graduate of University of Pittsburgh School of Engineering.  Retired
  from U. S. Steel, Pittsburgh, after 38 years.  Member of First
  Presbyterian Church of Edgewood, University of Pittsburgh Alumni
  Association; Phi Delta Theta social fraternity, and Theta social
  fraternity, and American Welding Society, where he served as past
  chairman of the Pittsburgh Section.  Family will receive friends from
  2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown,
  where service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, Rev. Douglas Stevens Jr.
  Interment, Odd Fellows Cemetery Stoystown.
