    Sister Dorothy Evelyn Snyder, 70, Bedford RD 2, died Feb. 26, 1990,
  at Lankenau Hospital, Philadelphia.  Born June 22, 1919, in
  Confluence, daughter of late Elmer and Bessie (Brown) Snyder. 
  Survived by sister, Mrs. Harold (Feme) Wentz, Stoystown, and brother,
  Amos, married to former Florence Zimmerman, Bedford RD 2; also five
  nephews.  Retired as deaconess with Lutheran Church, having served at
  orphans' home in Zelienople; Kensington Dispensary, Philadelphia; Ken
  Crest Centers at Plymouth Meeting and Mont Clare and at Drexel Home,
  Bala Cynwyd.  Member of Trinity Lutheran Church, DAR and RSVP, all of
  Bedford.  Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
  Wednesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where service will be
  held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Rev. Raymond E. Short.  Interment, Odd
  Fellow Cemetery, Stoystown.
