    SNYDER
  
    Edgar G. Snyder, 79, of Vanport, Beaver County, has gone to be with
  the Lord on Oct. 22, 2000 following an extended illness.  Born Jan. 3,
  1921 in Shanksville, a son of the late Roscoe and Ada Miller Snyder,
  he was a 1939 graduate of Shanksville High School.  Preceded in death
  by five brothers and a sister.  Survived by his wife of 53 years,
  Dorothy Bowser Snyder, a daughter and son-in-law Sharon and James
  Krznar, Center Township, a son, Roger Snyder and Debbie Deltondo,
  Industry, a brother, Ernest Snyder, Las Vegas, two sister, Ruth
  Hetrick and Irma Heiple, both of Somerset, four grandchildren and
  three great-grandchildren.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and
  7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the Noll Funeral Home, 333 third St.,
  Beaver, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, the hour of service at
  Beaver Alliance Church, corners of College Ave. and Fifth St.,
  Beaver, with Rev. David A. Yoder officiating and assisted by Rev.
  Kirby L. Lantz.  Private interment will follow in the Beaver Cemetery.
