    ELLIS T. SNYDER
  
    Ellis T. Snyder, 77, of Bear Creek Road, near Friendsville, Md.,
  died March 30, 1980 at his residence.
    He was born at Bittinger, Md.; a son of the late August and
  Elizabeth (Bittinger) Snyder.
    He was a retired construction worker.
    He is survived by his widow, Josephine (Bernard) Snyder; seven
  sons, Meredith and Marvin Snyder, both of Accident, Md.; Warren
  Snyder, Murrysville; Byron and Iris (Tong) Snyder, both of
  Grantsville, Md.; Atlee Snyder, McHenry, Md.; and Owen Snyder,
  Laytonsville, Md.; four daughters, Mrs. Emma Moser, Frederick, Md.;
  Mrs. Wilma Friend, Gary, Ind.; Mrs. Phyllis Thomas, Brendenton, Fla.,
  and Mrs. Joyce Hill, Greensburg; four sisters, Mrs. Carlotte Platter,
  Meyersdale, Mrs. Eva Wiley, Grantsville; Mrs. Ethel Ohler,
  Philadelphia, and Mrs. Zelda Conn, McKeesport; 42 grandchildren and
  10 great-grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville.
    Services were conducted in the funeral home by the Rev. Terry
  Furman.  Interment, will be in Grantsville Cemetery.
