    ELNORA C. SNYDER
  
    Elnora C. Snyder, 68, Friedens RD 2, died Aug. 15, 1983, at
  Memorial Hospital, Johnstown.
    She was born March 15, 1915, in Berlin, daughter of Milton Sr. and
  Martha (Saylor) Deeter.  She was preceded in death by parents; son,
  Harold; grandson, Scott Snyder; four brothers, Earl, Curtis, Milton
  Jr., and James; and an infant.
    She is survived by husband, Merle Jr., whom she married  Oct. 4,
  1936, and these children:  Mrs. Donald (Glenda) Uithoven and Mrs.
  Lois Cosner, both of El Cajon, Calif.; Earl J. and Mrs. Larry
  (Frances) Frazier, both of Berlin RD 1; Mrs. Lionel (Mary) Berkebile,
  Windber; Mrs. Merle Richard (Martha) Flick and Robert M., both of
  Friedens RD 2; and 15 grandchildren.  She was a sister of John,
  Edinburgh; Mrs. Bruce (Martha) Brown, Hagerstown, Md.; George,
  Stoystown RD 1; Mrs. Frank (Ethel Mae) Kopacka, New Stanton; Robert,
  Toledo, Ohio; Mrs. Henry (Lois) Mackey, Dalostown; Mrs. Glenn (Helen)
  St. Clair, Somerset RD 1; and Charles and Mrs. Ruth Crissey, both of
  Somerset RD 5.
    She was a member of Untied Church of Christ; formerly employed as a
  matron at Gladehurst School, Somerset.  Friends were received at the
  Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where services were conducted with
  the Rev. Walter B. Martin officiating.  Interment, Glade Cemetery.
