  SNYDER
  
  Elwood M. Snyder, 74, Stoystown died May 10, 1978 in Memorial
  Hospital, Johnstown.  Born April 30, 1904 in Rockwood, he was a son
  of Milton and Lydia (Weyand) Snyder.  Preceded in death by parents
  and his wife, the former Ida McClemens.  He is survived by these
  children:  Robert T., Stoystown; Mrs. Robert (Betty) Johnson,
  Cleveland, Ohio; Mrs. Eugene (Sue Ann) Bucko, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia;
  eight grandchildren and a brother, Clarence, Somerset.  He was
  retired trackman with the B & O Railroad and was formerly employed by
  the Deaner Funeral Home.  Family will receive friends 7-9 p.m.
  Saturday at the Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where services will
  be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, with the Rev. J. Wesley Spahn
  officiating.  Interment, Odd fellows Cemetery, Stoystown.
