    ETHEL SNYDER
  
    Ethel Snyder, 72, of Rockwood, died Dec. 4,1978 in Somerset
  Community Hospital.  Born June 15, 1906 in Scullton, she was the
  daughter of Garfield B. and Mary (Shelley) Whipkey.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell D. Snyder, Aug.
  20, 1976.
    She is survived by one son, Ray of Rockwood and three sisters: 
  Mrs. Grace Getwiler of Connellsville; Miss Ruth Whipkey, both of
  Confluence RD 3.
    She was a member of the Womanis Benefit Association and a member of
  the Christ United Methodist Church in Rockwood.
    Friends were received at the William J. Wood Funeral Home, Rockwood
  where services were conducted with the Rev. Dewayne Johnson
  officiating.  Interment, Rockwood IOOF Cemetery.
