  Fern P. Snyder, 80, of Somerset died Oct. 22, 2001 at her
  residence.  Born March 30, 1921, in Somerset Township, she is the
  daughter of the late David Pierce and Lottie Blanche (Weigle)
  Fisher.  Also preceded in death by husband, Willis Henry Snyder, son,
  Blair David Snyder, two grandchildren, brothers Richard and Edward
  Fisher, and sister, Mary Cramer.  Survived by children, Peter Wesley
  Snyder of Stoystown and Mrs. Kenneth (Eileen) Bloom of Berlin, four
  grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.  Member of the Seventh
  Day Adventist Church of Frostburg.  Friends received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
  p.m. Wednesday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where service
  will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday with Rev. Richard Thomas
  officiating.  Interment in Samuels Cemetery.  Contributions may be
  made to the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 82 College Ave., Frostburg,
  Md. 21532.
