    Floyd C. Snyder, 72, Black Township, passed on Oct. 2, 2006, at home. Born Nov. 14,
  1933, in Black Township, he is the son of the late Earl and Grace (Cramer) Snyder. He is
  preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Hazel Sanner and Pearl Knopsnyder. He is
  survived by his brothers, Clyde and wife Geraldine (Knopsnyder), Carl and wife Deanna
  (Johnson), and Dale and wife Joy (Weimer), all of Rockwood; and numerous nieces and
  nephews. He is a 20 year veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was a life member of the Air
  Force Sergeants' Association. He was a member of the Rockwood American Legion Post 279
  and the FOE Aerie 1801. He was a very charitable man who contributed to many causes over
  the years. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Miller
  Funeral Home, Rockwood, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. Jay
  Christner officiating. Interment at Rockwood IOOF Cemetery.
