  SNYDER
  
  George M. Snyder, 76, of 800 E. Main St., Somerset, formerly of the
  Connellsville Area, died Feb. 27, 1987, at Somerset Community
  Hospital.  Born Aug. 7, 1910, in Normalville, son of the late Wesley
  and Harriet Ann (Murray) Snyder.  A resident of Somerset for the past
  two years.  Retired coal miner and a former member of the UMWA. 
  Preceded in death by first wife, Sara (Sanner) Snyder; one daughter;
  three brothers; two sisters; and one stepdaughter.  Survived by his
  wife, Gladys Knupp Roddy Snyder; one son, George H. of Scottdale; two
  stepsons, William, and Clark Roddy, both of Somerset; two daughters,
  Wilma Pirl of Rogers Mills; and Mrs. Harry (Della) Pirl of
  Connellsville RD 2; one stepdaughter, Nancy Dunmeyer of Boswell; six
  grandchildren; 11 step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one
  step-great-grandchild; and two brothers, Ralph of Connellsville; and
  Elmer of Normalville.  Friends will be received at the Brooks Funeral
  Home, Inc., 111 E. Green St., Connellsville, from 2 to 9 p.m. Saturday
  and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, where funeral service will be held at
  1:30 p.m. Monday, the Rev. David Huey officiating.  Interment,
  Normalville Cemetery.
