Born Nov. 7, 1911, in Black Township, a son of Arthur and Sadie (Enos) Snyder. Preceded in death by parents; first wife, the former Melda D. Coughenour, who died June 16, 1976; stepdaughter, Patricia A. Rosey; brother, Merle "Dixie" Snyder; sisters, Stella Snyder, Ester Hornyak and Doris Hartline. Survived by wife, Anna (Lucas) Rosey-Snyder, to whom he was married 25 years; children: Mrs. Marvin (Charlotte) Graham, Columbia, S.C.; Donald G. Snyder, married to the former Mary Rosey, Somerset; Larry L. Snyder, married to the former Mary Ann Watkins, Falls Church, Va.; stepdaughter, Mrs. Donald (Gloria) Weyant, Somerset; grandchildren: Susan, Kathy, Nancy David and Lonnie; step grandchildren, Clair, Heaven and Brian; numerous great-grandchildren and brothers, Wilbur Snyder, Rockwood and Harry Snyder, Warren, Ohio. Member of Faith Lutheran Church. Worked as self employed farmer as well as a miner until he retired in the late 1970's. Also a member of the Pa. Farmers Association. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home. Service will be conducted 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Faith Lutheran Church, Somerset. The Rev. Kenneth M. Diable officiating. Interment, Wills Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Faith Lutheran Church, 6567 Glades Pike, Somerset, PA 15501. There will be viewing at the church one hour prior to the service.
