  Gussie M. (Rose) Miller Snyder, 69, of Somerset RD 1, died June 9,
  1978 in the Somerset Community Hospital.  Born April 11, 1909 in
  Cambria County, a daughter of Charles and Eliza (Leverknight) Rose. 
  Preceded in death by her first husband, Melville Miller; and second
  husband, Harry L. Snyder; also by three sons, five brothers; five
  sisters; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.  Survived by these
  children: Lewis Miller of Friedens, Ada Miller of Somerset RD 6; Mrs.
  Sara Sheeler of Somerset RD 3; Charles Snyder of Somerset RD 7; Mrs.
  Ralph (Geraldine) Bailey of Somerset RD 1; Mrs. Barry (Mary Jane)
  Carnes of Somerset RD 1; 20 grandchildren and 14
  great-grandchildren.  Sister of Samuel of Elton, Pa.; Benjamin of
  Fishertown, Pa.; and Mrs. Katherine Davis of Johnstown.  Friends are
  being received at the Richad [sic] E. Hauger Funeral Home where
  services 1:30 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Clifford Wicks
  officiating.  Interment, Mizpah Cemetery.
