Snyder, 76, of 705 Braddock Avenue, LaVale, Maryland, died Monday, February 25, 1985, at Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, Maryland. Born near Garrett, he was a son of the late N. Bruce Snyder and Annie (Wahl) Snyder. He was a retired Baltimore and Ohio Railroad engineer and was a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Anna L. (Beal) Snyder; three sons, Joseph H. Snyder and Larry W. Snyder, both of Winchester Road; Bruce L. Snyder, LaVale, Maryland; one sister, Mrs. Susan Dumbauld, Somerset; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends were received at the Hafer Chapel of the Hills Mortuary where services were conducted with the Rev. Jack R. George officiating. Interment, Rest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers were John H. Snyder, Wayne A. Snyder, Bruce A. Snyder, Brian D. Snyder, Rodney H. Snyder and Joseph E. Snyder, all grandsons. The Republic, February 28, 1985 [S2315]
