  MRS. CLYDE C. SNYDER
  
    Iva Snyder, 81, of Buffalo Mills (Bedford County) formerly of
  Rockwood, died March 12, 1974, in Somerset Community Hospital.  Born
  Jan. 1, 1893, in Westmoreland County, she was a daughter of the late
  William and Sarah (Meyers) McVay.  She was also preceded in death by
  her husband, Clyde C. Snyder.
    Surviving are a son, Clyde R. Snyder, Pittsburgh; a daughter, Mrs.
  Dorothy Biggs of Landing, N.J.; three grandchildren; four brothers,
  John McVay of Somerset, Harry and William McVay of Washington, D.C.;
  and Earl McVay of Manns Choice; and a sister, Myrtle McVay of Buffalo
  Mills.
    She was a member of the Rockwood Firemen's Auxiliary, the United
  Methodist Church of Christ in Rockwood, the WCTU and the Women's
  North American Benefit Association.
    Funeral service was held Saturday morning in William J. Wood
  Funeral Home, Rockwood, with Rev. George Lyford officiating. 
  Interment in Rockwood IOOF Cemetery.
