   John Franklin Snyder 77, Silver Spring, Md., formerly of Rockwood, passed on April 25,
  2008. Beloved husband of Elsie Snyder; father of Dan, Jane and Deanna; also survived by
  five grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at St. Luke's
  Lutheran Church in Rockwood. Interment at Rockwood IOOF Cemetery with full military
  honors accorded by the Somerset County Honor Guard. Relatives and friends are invited to
  join the family for a reception at the church following interment. In lieu of flowers,
  memorial contributions may be sent to the Foundation for North American Wild Sheep, 720
  Allen Ave., Cody, WY 82414-3402 or the charity of your choice. Local arrangements by
  Miller Funeral Home, Rockwood.
