  Katharine Uhl "Subby" Snyder, 85, Siemon Lakeview Manor, Somerset RD
  7, died Aug. 1, 1987, at Somerset Community Hospital.  Born July 26,
  1902, in Somerset, daughter of the late John Nicholas and Annie Uhl
  Snyder.  Preceded in death by brother, John Uhl Snyder.  Survived by
  cousins: Attorney Simon K. Uhl, Somerset RD 1, and Mrs. Albert C.
  (Allison Uhl) Kelley, Somerset.  Retired teacher from Somerset Area
  High School in 1966 after 40 years service.  Lifelong member of
  Trinity Lutheran Church.  Charter member of Somerset Fortnightly Club
  and Somerset Welfare League.  Friends received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
  Tuesday at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset.  Service at 1:30
  p.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Somerset, with the Rev. H.
  James Meyers officiating.  Interment, Union Cemetery.  Family suggests
  memorial contributions be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, Somerset
  Welfare League or Mary S. Biesecker Library.
