  SNYDER, Kathryn M. 08/11/05 The New Republic
   March 5, 1922 - August 11, 2005   

  Katharyn M. Snyder, of Kensington, Md., died Thursday, August 11, 2005, at her
  home after an extended illness.   
  She was born on March 5, 1922, she was the daughter of Sadie and William Mowder
  in Ponca City, OK.   
  She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Bill Mowder.   
  She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Paul, formerly of Meyersdale, their
  two sons and their wives, Dave and Sande of San Rafael, CA and Mike and
  Elizabeth, of Arlington, TX; her granddaughter Jennifer of Abilene, TX; her
  sister and brother-in-law Jere and Mark Hurd of Ponca City, OK; sisters-in-law
  Earlene Mowder of Boise, ID; Ann Snyder of Sebring, FL, Dorothy Snyder of
  Phoenix, AZ and numerous nephews and nieces and many dear friends.   
  A memorial service was held on Friday, August 19, at 10:30 a.m. at the Silver
  Spring Church of Christ, 100 East Franklin Ave., Silver Spring, MD 20901.   
  Interment followed at Parklawn Memorial Park in Rockville, MD. In lieu of
  flowers, remembrances can be made in her name to the Silver Spring Church of
  Christ Building Fund or to the Montgomery Hospice, 1355 Piccard Dr., Suite 100,
  Rockville, MD 20850.
