  LOWELL R. SNYDER
  
    Lowell R. Snyder, 52, of South Columbia Avenue, Somerset, died Oct.
  29, 1997, in Somerset Hospital.  Born June 29, 1945, in Somerset.  A
  son of Ernest Snyder of Las Vegas, Nev., and the late Francis
  (Hetrick) Snyder Boyer.  Survived by stepfather, Wayne Boyer of
  Somerset RD 3; two sisters: Teresa Garsteck, wife of Thomas Garsteck,
  Stahlstown, and Sally Lottig, wife of Ronald Lottig, Jennerstown; a
  brother, Terry Boyer and wife Gene of Prospect.  Eight nieces and
  nephews and 12 great-nieces and great-nephews.  Member of the
  Sipesville Church of the Brethren.  Veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving
  in the Vietnam War.  Graduate of Robert Morris College with a B.S.
  degree in accounting.  Employed by Eichleay Corp. for 23 years. 
  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in Robert
  H. Halverson Funeral Home, where service will be conducted at 1 p.m.
  Saturday, Rev. Royden E. Airesman and Rev. Charles T. Kelly
  officiating.  Interment, Lichty Cemetery.
