  LUCY E. SNYDER
  
  Mrs. Lucy E. Snyder, 83, Stoystown RD 1, died Dec. 12, 1979, at
  Somerset Community Hospital.  Born April 29, 1896, in Somerset
  County, a daughter of the late Joshua and Emily (Meyers) Sechler. 
  Preceded in death by her husband, Grant; a daughter, Mary Vernon;
  four brothers and one sister.  Survived by a son-in-law, James Vernon
  of Racine, Wis.; four grandchildren; and a number of nieces and
  nephews.  Member of the Kingwood Church of God.  Friends will be
  received after 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral
  Home, where services will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m., the Rev.
  Paul Tobias officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
