  Mabel Snyder, 89, Meyersdale, formerly of Boswell, died Aug. 15,
  1983, at Meyersdale Community Hospital.  Born March 24, 1894, in
  Somerset County, daughter of William and Sadie (Raymond) Peterson. 
  Preceded in death by parents; husband, Oliver; two sons; one
  daughter; brother, Charles; sisters, Elizabeth Ogline, Mary Paxton
  and Laura Wilson.  Survived by one son, Oran, Berlin RD; several
  grandchildren; sister, Minnie V., widow of Harry Ogline, Boswell;
  also numerous nieces and nephews.  Member of First United Methodist
  Church, Meyersdale.  Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday
  at the Hoffman Funeral Home, 409 Main St., Boswell, where services
  will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, the Rev. E. Wayne Rickard
  officiating.  Interment, Jenner Crossroads Cemetery.
