    Martha P. (Tressler) Snyder, 87, of Fort Hill RD 1, died Dec. 8,
  1986, in Somerset Community Hospital.  Born May 2, 1899, in Fort Hill,
  a daughter of the late B.G. and Maggie (McClintock) Tressler.  Preceded
  in death by her husband, Lester, and two sisters, Mrs. John (Minnie)
  McVay and Mrs. Earl (Myrtle) Leslie.  Survived by three nieces: Mrs.
  Fred (Vera Catherine Leslie) Jarrett of Southampton; Mrs. Mary
  Margaret (McVay) Shaffer of Clarksville, Tenn.; and Mrs. Frank
  (Elaine McVay) Lisk, Port St. Lucie, Fla.; four great nieces; one
  great nephew and a number of great-great nieces and nephews.
  She was a life-long member of the Fort Hill Church of God and served
  as secretary-clerk of the church for 50 years.  Friends will be
  received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Humbert Funeral Home,
  Confluence, and from 1 until 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Fort Hill Church
  of God where funeral services will be held, the Rev. Nevin Umbel
  officiating.  Interment, Kingwood I.O.O.F Cemetery.
