  MARVEL V. SNYDER
  
    Marvel V. Snyder, 85, of Markleton died Oct. 26, 1983, in the
  Somerset Community Hospital.
    She was born July 3, 1898, in Somerset County, a daughter of Madison
  and Arminta (Marker) Bittner.  She is survived by one son Everett
  Snyder of Markleton; one daughter, Mrs. George (Betty) Stracke of
  Honolulu, Hawaii; and by one brother, O. Ray Bittner of Rockwood RD
  2; two grandchildren: Mrs. Ray (Marjorie) Mull of Rockwood RD 3; and
  George Stracke of Louisville, Texas; two great-grandchildren: Mrs.
  Rickey (Melissa) Fisher of Somerset RD 4; and Mark Mull of Rockwood
  RD 3.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy P. Snyder in
  1950.  Also by an infant son, three sisters and two brothers.  She was
  a member of the Laurel Lutheran Church.
    Friends were received in the William J. Wood Funeral Home, Rockwood,
  where services were conducted with the Rev. Donald Krestar and the
  Rev. Richard Yates officiating.  Interment in the Kingwood I.O.O.F.
  Cemetery.
