    Richard Lee Snyder, 82, Pittsburgh, died Dec. 14, 2006, at Shadyside Nursing and
  Rehabilitation Center. Born Sept. 9, 1924, in Beachdale. Preceded in death by parents;
  and wife, the former Dorothy Joan Dial. Survived by half brothers, Floyd and Gene
  Hostetler; half sister, Geraldine Smith; good friend, Peggy Walsh; and several nieces,
  nephews and cousins. Graduate of Berlin Brothersvalley High School. Retired from Pa.
  Association for the Blind. Former member of Berlin Brethren Church. Family will receive
  friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where a service will be
  held 11 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Dr. Ronald Beachley and the Rev. Ralph Landis officiating.
  Interment, Beachdale Cemetery. Contributions may be given to Alzheimer's Association, 100
  W. Station Square Drive, Landmarks Building, Suite 500, Pittsburgh, PA 15219.
