  Robert Jay Snyder, 81, Sipesville, died Nov. 3, 2005, at Memorial Medical
  Center, Johnstown. Born July 13, 1924, in Lincoln Township, a son of Clarence
  Luther and Elizabeth M. (Ogline) Snyder. Preceded in death by parents; wife,
  the former C. Lucille Barnett, who died June 19, 1994; daughters, Clara E.
  Snyder and Diane Sue Snyder; son, David R. Snyder; granddaughter, Taylor
  Telenko; infant brother, Leroy Snyder; and brother, Elmer "Bud" Snyder.
  Survived by children, William J. Snyder, married to the former Terri McClemens,
  Somerset; Mrs. William J. (Eileen) Thompson, Sipesville; Janet Telenko,
  Somerset; and Stephen L. Snyder, married to the former Laura Phillips,
  Jennerstown; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and three step
  grandchildren. Brother of Mrs. Roy (Alice) Gindlesperger, Somerset. Had worked
  as a self employed Lincoln Township dairy farmer for more than 40 years
  retiring in 1987. He was also an avid hunter. Friends received 2 to 4 and 7 to
  9 p.m. Sunday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where service will
  be conducted 10 a.m. Monday. The Rev. William Randolph officiating. Interment
  Casebeer Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Sipesville Volunteer Fire
  Department.
