  SNYDER
  
    Robert S. Snyder, 78, of Rockwood RD 3, died April 22, 1996, at
  Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.  Born April 5, 1918, in Upper
  Turkeyfoot Township, son of the late Wilson G. and Minnie (Schrock)
  Snyder.  Preceded in death by a grandchild and a sister, Ruth
  Critchfield.  Survived by his wife of 50 years, the former Mardelle L.
  Ansell, and the following children: Darl R. Snyder, married to the
  former Lucy Brown, of Charlestown, W. Va.; Mrs. Thomas (Noreeta) S.
  Stern of Glenmoore, Pa.; and Keith A, Snyder, married to the former
  Kimberly Pritts, of Rockwood; Mrs. Cary (Cathy E.) Phillippi of
  Rockwood; 11 grandchildren and four step-grandchildren.  Brother of
  Florence May and Hazel Fike, both of Somerset, and Eleanor Aust of
  Johnstown.  A retired dairy farmer.  Member of and treasurer of the
  Kingwood Church of God.  Also member of Kingwood IOOF Lodge 1010 and
  Pennsylvania Farmers Association.  Past director of Somerset Rural
  Electric.  Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 2 to
  4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home,
  Somerset.  Funeral service at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Kingwood Church
  of God, Rev. James Monticue officiating.  Interment, Kingwood IOOF
  Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to
  the Kingwood Church of God, RD 1 Markleton, Pa. 15551.  Viewing at the
  church one hour prior the funeral service.
