SNYDER Scott Harrison Snyder, 94, of Pinehurst Nursing Home, formerly of Acosta, died Dec. 4, 1982, in Pinehurst Nursing Home, Ligonier. He was born July 16, 1888, in Somerset Township, son of the late John Augustus Snyder and Sarah (Zerfoss) Snyder Romesberg. He was also preceded in death by brothers: Frank and Adam Snyder; sister, Elsie; a half-brother, Ernest Romesberg; a sister, Mable Hay Weimer; also two grandchildren. Survived by his widow, the former Della May Romesberg. He is survived by these children: Mrs. Elsie Sheehan, Cochranville; Mrs. Blanche Pederzolli, Lima, Ohio; and Victor Snyder, married to the former Naomi Miller, Parma, Ohio; five grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. He is survived by half-brother, Harvey Romesberg, Rockwood RD 1. He was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church, Edie. His death ended a marriage of 73 years. Friends were received in the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home, where services were held with the Rev. Donald Rudat officiating. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
