Born Feb. 7, 1918, in Stonycreek Twp., son of Roscoe and Ada (Miller) Snyder. Preceded in death by parents, and three brothers: Herbert, Hillis, and Willard. Survived by widow, the former Imogene Blackburn; two daughters: Mrs. Samuel (June) Cosnotti, Roanoke, Va.; Mrs. William (Linda) Raymond, Frederick, Md.; five grandchildren, Sam, Greg, Joan, Billy and Larry. Brother of: Ida, Johnstown; Ernest, Arvada, Col.; Edgar, Midland, Pa.; Delbert, Denver, Col.; Mrs. Carl (Ruth) Hetrick, Friedens RD 2; Roscoe, Cleveland, Ohio; Mrs. James (Irma) Heiple, Somerset RD 5. He was a retired stone mason and World War II Army veteran. Family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Monday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, the Rev. Marlin A. Miller.
