Snyder, 78, of Jenner Crossroads passed away Aug. 7, 2000 at home. Born June 8, 1922 in Berlin. Son of the late William and Ruth (Bingner) Snyder. Survived by wife Zelma (Meyers) Snyder. His passing ends a marriage union of 54 years. Also daughter Linda Holben of Butler, sister Joyce Meyers of Jenner Crossroads, brother Robert Snyder, grandchildren Eric and Wendy Holben and four great-grandchildren. Veteran of the U.S. Navy in World War II. He was a retired welder for The American Bridge Co. in Ambridge. Member of Laurel Trinity Lutheran Church in Jennerstown. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Pastor Kathleen Kuehl officiating.
