WILSON G. SNYDER

  Wilson G. Snyder, prominent Upper Turkeyfoot farmer, aged 70, brother of 
Congressman J. Buell Snyder and Mrs. Joseph L. Tressler, of Meyersdale, died 
Tuesday morning, Aug. 27, on the farm on which he was born and lived all his 
life.
  He was a son of the late Jeremiah and Josephine Snyder, and besides the 
brother and sister above mentioned, is also survived by these other sisters and 
a brother: Mrs. Milton Schrock, Black Township; Mrs. Eli Lephart, Upper 
Turkeyfoot Township; Mrs. Elmer Lephart, Rockwood; Jacob Snyder, Johnstown.  
Also by the following children: Mrs. Ruth Critchfield, Rockwood; Mrs. Hazel 
Fike, Somerset; Miss Eleanor Snyder, a student nurse in the Johnstown Memorial 
Hospital, and Florence and Robert, at home.
  Funeral services were conducted Thursday afternoon at 2:30 in the Kingwood 
Church of God with Rev. J. I. Kalp, assisted by Rev. L. J. Mulhollen, 
officiating.  Interment in the Kingwood Cemetery under the direction of Mills 
and Mickey, Rockwood morticians.
