  SOISSON
  
    Katherine E. Soisson, 84, of South Connellsville, died Feb. 18,
  1998, in Highlands Hospital, Connellsville.  Born March 19, 1913, in
  Cumberland, Md.  Daughter of the late William and Emma (Beckman)
  Cerke.  Lifelong resident of Connellsville.  A graduate of
  Connellsville High School.  A former employee of the former Overholt
  Distillery in Broadford.  Member of the Goldenaires Club and of the
  Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Connellsville.  Survived by
  two sons: William G. Soisson and his wife Eleanor of Friedens and
  Larry Soisson and his wife Carol of Seymour, Conn.; two daughters:
  Mrs. Theodore (Kathleen) Cocks of Newport, N.C., and Mrs. John
  (Nancy) Dye of Connellsville; 10 grandchildren and 3
  great-grandchildren.  Last surviving member of her immediate
  family.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her
  husband, George F. Soisson, in 1988; a brother Harry Gerke and two
  sisters, Marguerite Butts and Emma Anthony.  Friends will be received
  from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday (today) in the Brooks Funeral Home Inc.,
  111 E. Green St., Connellsville, where a prayer service will be held
  at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, followed by a funeral service at 1 p.m. in
  the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Connellsville, with Rev.
  Herb Dubler officiating.  A committal service and interment will
  follow in Green Ridge Memorial Park, Pennsville.
