She had been in ailing health for several years. Born in Westernport, Md., she was a daughter of the late James and Isabelle Broadwater Kight and the granddaughter of the late William C. and Mary Warnick Broadwater of Grantsville. She had resided at the home of the late James Sanson and Marian Frast Broadwater, now the home of Miss Viola Broadwater, for a number of years. She was married to the late Rev. Emery W. Somerville, a Methodist minister. Mrs. Somerville was a member of First Methodist Church, Keyser, W.Va. Surviving are three sons: Morris A. Somerville, Sparrows Point, Md.; Master Sgt. William B. Somerville, stationed at Barstow, Calif., and Francis O. Somerville, Berlin, Md. She is also survived by a brother H. O. Kight, Fort Meyers, Florida, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Saturday morning at 11 a.m., by Rev. Charles W. Paskel, pastor of First Methodist Church, Keyser, W.Va. Interment was held in Philos Cemetery, Westernport, Md. Relatives from Grantsville attending the service were Mrs. Lena Stanton Bender and Miss Viola Broadwater. Meyersdale Republic, August 16, 1956 [S2395]
