    John W. Sopich Sr., 58, Boswell RD 1, died August 17, 1979, at
  home.  Born March 10, 1921, in Ralphton, son of Ambrose J. and Dora
  (Dusak) Sopich.  Preceded in death by parents; son Paul J., who died
  Feb. 28, 1973; two sisters; three brothers.  Survived by widow, the
  former Dorothy Ewanitsko, and these children; Michaelene, wife of
  Daniel Kozak, Boswell; Robert, Daniel, Thomas, Mark, Jeffrey, John
  Jr., Rosemarie, Karen, and Georgeanne, all at home; Patricia, Coco
  Beach, Fla.  Three grandchildren.  Brother of Barbara and Wanita
  Sopich, both of Boswell RD 1; Joseph, Stoystown RD 1; Katherine, wife
  of Peter Novak, Boswell RD 1; Steve, Boswell; and Frank, Jerome. 
  Member St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Boswell; Bricklayers Union
  Local Number 4; Jenner Rod and Gun Club; Polish Falcons Nest 556,
  Jerome; S.O.I. Lodge, Boswell; Somerset County Oldtimers Baseball
  Association.  Navy veteran of World War 2.  Friends will be received
  7-9 p.m. Saturday, 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday at Joseph G. Hoffman Funeral
  Home, 409 Main St. Boswell, where wake services will be held 7:30 p.m.
  Sunday.  Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Monday, St. Stanislaus
  Church, the Rev. Lawrence Wolkonowski O.F.M. Conv. officiating. 
  Interment church cemetery.
