  SOPICH
  
    Joseph F. Sopich, 84, Lincoln Highway, Stoystown RD (Jenner Cross
  Roads), died Jan. 30, 2000, in Somerset Hospital.  Born Feb. 13,
  1915, in Somerset County, the son of Ambrose J. and Dora F. (Dusak)
  Sopich.  Preceded in death by parents, sisters, Anna Sopich, Florence
  Shesko and Barbara Sopish [sic], and brothers, George, Anthony,
  Michael, John, Frank and Steve.  Survived by wife, the former
  Elizabeth I. "Betty" Bosy; children, Joseph M., married to Penny
  Jacobs, Boswell, Doris A. O'Connor, New Carrollton, Md., David W., at
  home, and Nancy E., Fort Washington, Md.; grandchildren, Michael,
  Danielle, Patricia, Jennifer, Tammy and David; great-grandsons, Chase
  and Justin; and sisters, Katherine Novak, Boswell, and Wanita Sopish
  [sic], Boswell, R.D.  Also loved by numerous nieces and nephews. 
  Observed 58th wedding anniversary May 6, 1999.  Member of IBEW Local
  126.  Was an electrical linesman for many years with various
  contractors.  Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the
  Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell, where service will be
  held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.  Rev. Dr. Joseph M. Beer officiating. 
  Interment, Jenner Cross Roads Cemetery.  Memorials may be sent to the
  Mt. Laurel UCC Church Building Fund, 1207 Keysertown Road, Boswell, PA
