Sorg, 82, Indiantown Road, Somerset, went to be with her Lord, May 10, 1998 at Somerset Patriot Manor. Born Oct. 19, 1915 in Coon Island, Washington County, Pa. Daughter of James William and Margaret Donahey (Bonar) Patterson. She was preceded in death by parents; husband, Frank Elmer Sorg, who died Jan. 24, 1978; sisters Georgianna P. Bainer and Jane P. Yohe; and brother James W. Patterson Jr. Survived by children, Ms. Rebecca J. Berman and Richard F. Sorg, both of Indiantown Road, Somerset; 4 grandchildren: Jonathan Berman, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; David Berman of Grand Prairie, Texas; Joshua Berman and Sarah Sorg, both of Somerset; and 2 great-grandchildren, Micah and Joseph Berman. She was the aunt of Mrs. Wils (Jane) Cooley of Waynesburg, and James K. Yohe of Blairsville. Member of St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, where she was a member of the Sarah Circle. A 1933 graduate of Claysville High School. She was a member of a pioneer family of Washington County. Friends received from 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home where service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, with the Rev. Keith M. Fink officiating.
