Soroka, 75, a native of Jenners, died May 26, 1993, in Milford, Conn. Son of the late Rev. John J. Soroka and Susan (Macura) Soroka. Survived by his wife, Nathalie Macura Soroka; son, John Daniel Soroka of New York City; a sister, Lydia Bertolini of Stoystown; also nieces and nephews. World War II veteran of Army Air Corps, where he received the Distinguished Unit Badge with two oak leaf clusters. Was a retired maintenance man for Alinabal Company; assembler for International Harvester Co. During retirement, he worked part time as a clerk at Walbaums Market in Milford. Services were held May 29, 1993, at Adzima Funeral Home, Stratford, Conn., and at 10:30 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, Nicholas, Conn., with the Divine Liturgy with office of Christian Burial.
